#AIPRISM25: Technology providers – A&G Technology

The AI-PRISM consortium holds the necessary expertise to strategically improve the EU Smart manufacturing value chain in four domains: collaborative environment, robot perception and recognition, robot programming and human factors. We are working to achieve a suitable trade-off between complementary and overlapping among the industrial partners.

In the technology providers category, we count on South Korean partner with experience in researching and developing our technologies A&G Technology (A&G), experts in quality control. The company provides knowledge, technology, service, and engineering solutions to their customers so that they may succeed in Research and Development, manufacturing techniques and quality control.

Today the A&G team is sharing a video that showcases their manufacturing process and how they are total solution providers of automotive test and inspection equipment. Since 1987, their technology has provided the equipment in these applications through either introduction for foreign companies or self-manufacturing. At AI-PRISM, they bring expertise and solutions in validating technology by applying quality control and assurance methods in the collaborative environment that will be developed in Silverline’s use case,  final control, and packaging stations of home appliances in Turkey.

With the vision to develop as the best “Automotive Testing Solution Provider” in the world, the South Korean partner has succeeded in localizing the major test equipment based on technical cooperation with advanced foreign companies. Therefore, in our project, they are tech providers of the adaptable and collaborative workstation conducted in Silverline facilities.

A&G’s contribution to the project will be in integrating and validating the quality collaborative control workstations for end-of-line tests. They will develop a testbed to validate an algorithm of human status detection from our partner Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) and a human status monitoring system prototype in collaborative working environments with them. Moreover, A&G will also develop interfaces between the monitoring system with the working robots.

Thanks to A&G’s contribution, the 12 tasks conducted in the final control and packaging station will be improved, increasing resource efficiency and reducing the total production time and costs and the cognitive load required from the operators.
