AI-PRISM | AI-Powered Human-Centred Robot Interactions for Smart Manufacturing

Announcing AI-PRISM Workshop on Methods for Enhancing Industrial Human-Robot Collaboration | 27th May online

We are pleased to announce the CEN Workshop on “Methods for Enhancing Industrial Human-Robot Collaboration and Cooperation”, organized in the framework of the AI-PRISM project. The virtual kick-off meeting will be held on 27 May 2025 at 10.00.

The workshop will focus on delivering human-centred AI-based solutions for the achievement of a more resilient, efficient, digital, and sustainable European manufacturing industry. It is founded upon the four pillars of the AI-PRISM solutions ecosystem:

  • A human-centred collaborative robotic platform for hard-to-automate tasks
  • A cooperative human-robot environment empowered by trustworthy AI
  • Social human-agent-robot collaboration with AI-driven safety monitoring
  • An open-access network portal for compliant infrastructure provision

The objective of this workshop is to develop two CEN Workshop Agreements (CWAs):

  • Methodology for Human-Centred Design of Industrial Human-Robot Applications
  • Methodology for the Identification of Human Skills Requirements for Work in Industrial Human-Robot Collaboration

The deliverables will be practical, piloted methodologies to address current gaps in human-centred design and skills planning for collaborative robotics, for safer, more effective, and more ethical industrial workplaces.

The workshop is open to a diverse range of stakeholders, including manufacturers, industry associations, service providers, environmental organisations, and universities. It welcomes participation from a broad range to enable the creation of practical and widely applicable methodologies.
